Having Kitty here this summer to help with the busy show season is really refreshing.......she is a breath of fresh air. Instead of the usual "use auto settings and take everything on motordrive and hope for one good pic in a thousand" brigade that I see at so many events, Kitty uses her camera wisely, uses everything on manual, and ensures every photo she takes is a great one.
This weekend has been very busy with two local shows and if you were a competetor at either Gables or Silverton Hunt, then your photos are now ready for viewing online on the website.Tonight we are preparing for three days at Paignton Championship Show. Im looking forward to seeing clients old and new over the next three days, and to those people who have already booked their photo sessions with me, "Thankyou" and see you on the day!

.......or is it glasshouses and stones? Well whatever it is, this weekends windy, blustery, wet weather meant that I opted NOT to set up the gazeebo at E.L.F dog show and dog showjumping on Saturday, and as I watched the cake stall gazeebo go sailing over over the roof of the cars, I think it was a wise decision! However there was a lull in the rain, and we got some great shots of the competetors. Photos can now be viewed here http://www.farlap-photography.com/section151915_187655.html
Stithians show was a warm and pleasant day by contrast and if you were a competetor there, all proofs have now been posted out to you.
A day of commissioned photography out at sea provided some interesting images of various fish species for a forthcoming sea anging feature in a magazine, and we sold an image of a shih tzu dog to a chinese calendar company, so to say its been an "ecclectic" week would be a bit of an understatement!

What a beautiful day to be in the stunning grounds of Boconnoc House, as official photographer for the two day endurance races. The weather was kind to us.....maybe a little too kind as we sweltered on the lawns, however the photos are cracking and can be found via the "view proofs and events" page on the website.
