Bedraggled Bank Holiday

The bank holiday looked promising with newton Abbot SDCS show going well, and lots of great dogs to photograph,  and the next day we had the Cotley Show in Somerset, again great weather for dogs and photos and some lovely calendar shots taken.....and then came Monday....oh dear!

Tiverton Foxhounds show is one of my annual favourites, and always a busy show for me, but this year it rained from start to finish and the mud got deeper by the hour! Luckily we took the landrover to this one as getting in and out was fun! Well done to all the hardy folk who braved it out til the end!

Oh Nuts!

Another week of diversity......a farming family and their lifelong dreams to expand their dairy herd meant a commercial commission photographing their new parlour and yards for website and brochures, followed by a day at the races....well lurcher races/coursing anyhow. After that it was a day with squirrel nutkin for a forthcoming magazine article. Luckily it was the lovely red variety and not the vermin grey.

From A-Z

.....thats Africa to Zeal!
This week one of our most popular images has been sold no less that nine times, to different publications worldwide, including to the African News Agency" Naija News", The Telegraph, Daily Mail and The Sun
On a more local scale however, we had a trip to Zeal Monochorum to photograph ponies. And inbetween its been very busy with a day at Gables Farm Open Day family dog show plus another day on the North Devon  Coast , a sheep breeder and (if the weather is on our side) a miniature donkey stud later in the week.

Dunster Hound Show was a rather warm day but we had some great photos and they will be appearing in the press very soon.
Next week will be full-on with Paignton Championship Dog Show. So far we have clients booked in on each of the four days, for photos, so we have everything crossed for some dry weather!
