Raining Cats n Dogs

A rather wet start to the week has meant that a couple of dog photo shoots have had to be postponed, hopefully next week will be better. We had a full on day covering Sheep South West, and the weather stayed bright and dry thankfully. Today weve been photographing the new kittens awaiting adoption at Gables and what a cute bunch they are!

Horsing around

Somtimes the clients want to get up close and friendly, and this little chap was one of those that definitely wanted to get close on a pony shoot earlier this week!!  (photo ©S Newman)

With the sun blazing down it would have been nice to have been outside doing a few more of my shots for the new flower card range we are producing, however a large client needed over 120 breed standard dog images in a hurry for a new website, so editing the images in the office was the priority of the week. We have a few interesting jobs scheduled over the next week or so, including wild boar piglets for a magazine, a mare giving birth (if we get there on time!) for a vets website and sheep....lots and lots of sheep!!!
Meanwhile heres another feature in Farmers Guardian  that uses Farlap photos.(you have to click the pony pic to see it!)

From Beef to Bacon

The last week or so has had a bit of an agricultural theme, we supplied images for this  beef expo feature in Farmers Guardian
and then spent two days at Glenshiel Pedigree pigs, getting the entire portfolio for their new website, studcards and brochures.
