North and South

A varied couple of weeks, with a trip to Scotland last week for the early hind stalking season......although this little character wasnt stalking with us she certainly was a cracker!

Ive also had some fantastic days in the crisp weather, on some wonderful shoots. The traditional cocker and woodcock was a bit of a favourite from todays shoot. Im really looking forward to three shoots coming up,soon, which will take me to Dorset, Devon and Cornwall, and Im also planning the "winter" calendar photoshoot very soon so keep an eye on the blog and the facebook page so you dont miss it!

The Chase is on

Weve had a lovely couple of weeks working on some of our favourite shoots .I had my first day with East Village Shoot this season, a real favourite place of mine, such fantastic company and so much fun.

Chase shoot is a new client, and what a superb shoot it is, beautiful location with really good birds, presented perfectly for the guns. Ive also managed a day with hounds......I do hope Kerry will forgive me for adding this slowmotion series of photos....she wasnt hurt and it made us all laugh!!!

From Prisons to Castles

Not many people can be working in Dartmoor prison one moment and at Cornwalls finest country estates the next, but that how its been last week. http://www.farmersguardian.com/home/livestock/livestock-features/sheep-growing-popularity-of-mules-in-the-south-west/59820.article   A commission with farmers Guardian at the prison farm was quite an eye opener, and as always, good fun, this was followed by a lovely day in super company at Colquite at the Cornwall Field Tria Society novice retriever trial.
and congratulations to Frank Fitheridge with Hanrebor Blackberry (pictured) for winning this highly competetive stake.
