Poultry in motion

This week has been full of clucks and crowing, with two large poultry photo shoots......great fun, I love working with these birds, and a bit of patience and strategy working with them usually pays dividend!
Over the weekend we were on our stand at the Westcountry Game fair, where it was great to catch up with friends old and new, as well as meeting new clients and getting the 2014/15 game shooting season calendar off with a bang with a number of firm bookings.
We will be announcing the result/winners of our fabulous Game Fair competition next week so keep your eyes peeled, it COULD be YOU!

Time Flies

Time appears to fly when you are getting together the images for the next calendars. You wouldnt believe we are about to finish 2016!!! We held a great calendar photoshoot last weekend at Okehampton with over 20 dogs joining us for a couple of hours in the park. It was goo fun and all the dogs behaved well. There are still a few owners who are yet to choose their free print so if thats you, plese dont forget to do it. I will be organising another one soon in East Devon and in Plymouth area so please get in touch if you are interested in YOUR dog modelling

The last week has also been rather busy getting the images for a major reprt/ feature on cattle fertility finished, and has involved a certain amount of risky locations where bulls have been involved! Im rather glad that this commission is now finished and I escaped unscathed!

We go International again

A busy week for Farlap, starting with selling two images to Italian dog Magazines, and then to a web designer in the USA who was looking for a typical English whippet image. Looking forward to seeing the finished result soon. We also had a nice UK front cover with the James Wellbeloved magazine this quarter
The big news this week though is that we have now booked in our next International Calendar photo Shoot for Dog breeds. heres the info:
Farlap Canine Photography are holding a calendar photo shoot on Saturday march 15th meeting in Simmons Park Okehampton. (carpark by leisure centre) All breeds of dog are welcome and also many cross breeds and lurchers . We will start at 11am and its weather dependant. Your dog doesnt have to be a movie star, just has to sit or stand on the end of a lead. Puppies especially welcome.
Please make sure attending dogs are clean and brushed and if they have a nice bright collar to wear that would be fantastic.
All owners will get a free 10" x 10" print/ copy of each of their dogs modelling, and if they are successful in getting in the calendars, then a free copy of the calendar too. Please share with all your dog friends, as the more the merrier. Our calendar shoots are great fun and the dogs and owners always enjoy them. Any questions please get in touch.
