Flying start

Milly has made a flying start to her apprenticeship, with several images published and also securing a deal to get some of our greetings cards into a local shop. Well done Milly!

We held one of our calendar photo shoots in Sidmouth last week and met lots of lovely new dogs, as well as quite a few old hands, and had a really fun few hours. For those who couldnt make it, we are having one on Plymouth hoe on Saturday, meeting midday by Drakes bowls statue. Do come along with your dogs, its great fun and you get a free print, plus your dog maybe chosen to star in an international calendar, appearing all over the world. Baptism of Fire

HUGE well done to Milly on completing her first fulltime week. She really had a baptism of fire with 2 days at Paignton Championship Dog show covering agility and breed rings, then a frantic day in the office getting images off to several magazines. Then the next day was MEANT to be a relaxed day at a local agricultural show, where we were photographing the hound show for a magazine article (couple of hours tops, I had told her!) However on arrival at the secretaries office it seemed the booked photographer hadnt turned up in the horse section so we spent a long hard, hot 6 hours on our feet photographing a wonderful horse show. Today Milly has seen the worst side of the job, hours processing images in the office, a bit of swearing from me (!) and annoying music on the radio  despite it all she still reckons shes coming back next week! Heres one of her brilliant pix from the show yesterday. Honiton Agricultural Show horse section photos are now online to view.
